A chemical transfer pump is any type of pump that has been designed to safely move and distribute chemicals in a system according to their specific requirements, whether it is a centrifugal pump or a positive displacement pump. Chemical transfer pumps are not to be mistaken for pumps used for the process of cooling/heating chemicals, pumps used for the process of mixing chemicals or chemical process pumps, or any other procedure for that matter. Even though water is technically a chemical, water transfer pumps do not come under the category of chemical transfer pumps.
